1945-1967 (Start of the cold war)
After World War 2, the relationship between Soviet and United States became hostile rapidly. In 1947, the first confrontation occurred between two sides over the issue of Greece. The battlefield of Cold War was extended to other regions but not only Europe. Some conflicts even developed into wars causing many casualties.
